The main focus of the reception is to act as the first point of contact for anyone visiting the dealership or making general telephone contact and greeting them in a friendly and professional manner. Act as
an ambassador of the dealership and Toyota amongst the wider community.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
The Receptionist carries out a range of duties related to running the dealership’s reception, including:
Act as the first point of contact for anyone visiting the dealership
Meet and greet all Customers immediately upon entering the dealership
Answering and directing calls in a professional manner
Managing inbound call and website chat leads
General clerical duties (banking/ filing/ checking vehicle details)
Interacting with visitors and Customers and ensuring their waiting time has not been exceeded
DAR Management - Managing all inbound leads - Phone, walk in and internet/email, particularly the Internet/email leads
Managing the toyota.com.au leads in a very timely manner (TFL requirement), immediate email response
Ensuring the Customer courtesy items and replenished, coffee machine, cups, biscuits etc
Ensuring the Customer amenities and waiting room is clean and tidy
Showing visiting Customers to where they need to go, walking them to their destination
Following TFL (Toyota For Life) Standards
Working as part of the team and having fun with our customers

Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities:
The main focus of an Apprentice Technician is to carrying out a range of engine & mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service as detailed per product warranty guidelines, while training with qualified technicians.
Key job functions & Accountabilities
The Apprentice Technician carries out a range of duties relating to the service of vehicles, including:
Basic servicing and repairing the mechanical parts of vehicles such as the engine, transmission (clutch, gearbox, differential), and the suspension systems (springs, steering, wheels, brakes, and tyres)
Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
Minor repairs to the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission, and the suspension systems
Installing optional extras to new vehicles as required
Reporting all necessary work, service, or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
Ordering parts needed as part of warranty service
Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment
Providing high-level guest service to the dealerships guests

Direct Reports: Pre-Delivery Detailers (Reconditioning team)
Purpose / Main area of Responsibilities: Pre-Delivery Detailers (Reconditioning team)
Key job functions & Accountabilities
Carry out quality control of all used cars before departure to our used car yard
Used vehicle reconditioning for both sites (Ryde and Chatswood)
Responsible for all day to day operations of the Pre Delivery department at Ryde
Plan all Pre-Delivery daily activities, analyse results and plan methods of reaching greater efficiency in order to achieve departmental plan without compromising the high level of workmanship
Complete performance reviews with Pre-Delivery team members
Support the continuous improvement of the department and display an innovative approach, enabling the team to develop new skills to respond better to the changing needs of our clients and guests
Monitor Pre-Delivery performance and take corrective action to ensure that all commitments are met
Achieve business growth plans consistent with agreed strategies
Maintain an effective department structure, team member capability, performance levels and department culture
Recommend purchase of Pre-Delivery equipment
Administer cost control, pricing, discounts, purchase control
Adopt a hands on approach when required
Facilitate any technical support needed for the department
Complete productivity and efficiency reporting, non-productive clocking and analyse and discuss outcomes
Ensure proactive procedures are in place to control outstanding service debtors as per company guidelines
Role model effective and accurate data integrity
Facilitate weekly Pre-Delivery meetings recording all minutes
Understand, comply and support all WH&S standards and safety regulations
